Knowledge is NOT Power, Knowledge APPLIED is Power

Anthony Robbins, Motivational Author

Discover and disclose human potential

Human being virtually has unlimited power. Education discloses this power. IT empower education to fulfill its mission.

No Global Village anymore

The term global village does not describe today's world accurately. The world of computer screens is more appropriate. The need for informal education is increasing. It is not clear yet whether IT will replace formal education with informal one.

Virtual worlds of education

Virtual course, virtual teacher, virtual classroom, virtual library, virtual high school, and virtual university. One to many communication replaced by many to many. People are the interactive agents, not passive receptors.

Implications

Need for life-long education. Need for upgrading skills by informal education. Need for learner-centered education, not teachercentered. Need for self-learning. Need for enhancing information literacy. Need for academically specialized, accredited portals.
