Even during rash years, my passion for the genetics didnt ceased despite all the distractions that I gladly indulged. With the help of my mother, who earned PhD degree in molecular biology, I had access to experiment devices and test subjects that would normally be inaccessible. The superior environment, along with the passionate teacher, helped me to turn away from lackadaisicalness and incompetency thus I regard biology, genetics in particular, as my academic and social lifesaver. What Every time I pick up news that is related to genetics, I feel my heart pound. I have taken basic and advanced (AP) course, and have been familiarized with the lab experiments regarding the research of transgenic organism. I also had experience with the gel electrophoresis along with careful instructions from the technician. I would like to recruit lab assistants and form a team in the future, and a supervisor for more through and detailed basic guidance. When Genetics wasnt always part of my life I once didnt like the science itself. Moreover, I wasnt interested in studying, nor making social relationships with others. However, with the help of my beloved mother, I progressively gained confidence in biology in particular. Biology furthermore inspired me into the world of genetics, and its inspiration also encouraged me raise my overall grades up since then, I always appreciated genetics as my academic career saver. Where (city/country) Ever since the Korean War, Korea was divided into two parts: South Korea and North Korea. The adoption of communism in North Korea once made it stronger than South Korea, yet capitalism gradually proved effective under the influence of United States. I was born in Korea, learned Korean culture, and integrated perseverance with the creativeness from the America. I am currently living in Gangnam, and I wish to see myself working as a chief manager of the research team in Choongang University.
