Recently three antisocial behaviour warning letters have been issued to young people in the town

October update: The levels of anti-social behaviour (ASB) remain low across all of the parishes that the team covers and we are ever vigilant in our attempts to keep it that way. Recently the team have been working with the different housing associations that have properties within Henley Town, and this joint work, in regards to ASB, has resulted in three evictions this month. Several other residents have also signed Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABCs), as a result of complaints of ASB on the Gainsborough Estate in Henley. These actions were taken following a Have Your Say meeting held on the estate, to which over 80 residents attended. Eight ABCs have also been signed in Sonning Common by young people who have been found engaging in ASB.

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)

Anti social behaviour in Henley is frownd up by the community and it is seen as the young generations fault. Anti social behaviour is seen a lot in Henley especially in the town centre and the local park area. The reasons for the anti social behaviour is because there is no where else for them to go. So we see them wondering around the streets being noisy and causing trouble. The young generation are normally at the ages of 12-17. The majority of the drunk and disorderly offenses are from 18 year olds going out and making the most of being 18 but still hanging out on the streets. The issue has caused great effect to the public. People dont want to leave their houses and the local areas in the early evening on a Friday and Saturday are not the most satisfying places to be. This issue doesn't have an action video hence why I am going forward and making one myself.
