Department of Management Studies came into existence in the year 2004 within National Institute of Technology, Durgapur and aims to impart quality management and technical education. It aims in developing analytical skills, functional skills,operational skills, leadership qualities as well as ethical and moral values within the students. The school boasts of a faculty from diverse backgrounds and it takes in students with regional diversity and varied educational qualifications. Students of the institute are shortlisted based on their CAT score and are admitted after group discussion and personal interview session conducted by experts from industry and academia.
