Worcester Local First Executive Director Job Description

The Executive Director will provide leadership and management for WLF and will coordinate and delegate specific responsibilities/tasks through the Steering Committee and various SubCommittees. The Executive Director will work closely with the Executive Committee in advancing the WLF mission and strengthening the membership and financial position of WLF. Membership *Respond to member inquiries *Manage membership list, renewals and membership communications *Coordinate with the Membership Sub-Committee on membership retention and soliciting new members *Assist in sponsorship development

Marketing, Communications and Public Relations *Create a monthly newsletter *Promote special events and other newsworthy items through traditional and social media Directory *Coordinate with Directory Sub-Committee to produce the directory *Coordinate the directory distribution to member locations and at public events Steering Committee *Organize five Steering Committee meetings annually including notifying members, creating agenda and taking and distributing meeting minutes. *Assist in recruiting new Steering Committee members. *Meet with and assist Sub-Committees (Marketing, Membership, Directory, Executive, Events/Programs) as needed

Finances and Accounting **Report on financial activity to Steering Committee and SBN *Invoice renewing members *Grant writing Website *Oversee the maintenance & updating of the website, with assistance from Sub-Committees
