Waters Out of Our Past: Degler Presentations Each of you will be responsible for leading a discussion on a section of Deglers chapters. While everyone is required to read Degler, your job will be to be the expert on your particular section. Your colleagues will find it helpful if you prepare a brief outline of your section. It could be a couple points, a few accompanying visuals that you paste into a WordDoc or PowerPoint slide and email to me. That way I can project it on the screen during our discussion, and link it to the blog to create an archive of our work. Your presentation should NOT be a simple reading of your doc. Since each of us should participate in the discussion, you should help us to understand what Deglers main points are and how a few of his myriad examples illustrate these points. Its always a great idea to have a broad question(s) to spark discussion. Your presentation will probably take 5-10 minutes, with discussion.
