About the Creators

MEGAN McDONALD
is an award-winning author of more than sixty books for children and young readers, including the wildly popular Judy Moody series, the Stink books, and the Sisters Club trilogy. Once, while I was visiting a class full of Judy Moody readers, she remembers, the kids, many with spiked hair la Judys little brother, chanted, Stink! Stink! Stink! Stink! Stink! as I entered the room. In that moment, I knew that Stink had to have a book all his own. Megan McDonald lives and writes in northern California with her husband, a frequent collaborator.
Five Things You May Not Know About Megan McDonald 1. The first story Megan ever got published (in the fifth grade) was about a pencil sharpener. 2. She is a member of the IceCream-for-Life Club at Screamin Mimis in her hometown. 3. She owns a jawbreaker that is bigger than a baseball, which she will never, ever eat. 4. Like Stink, Megan had a pet newt that slipped down the drain when she was his age. 5. Megan often starts a book by scribbling on a napkin and now gets many fan letters written on napkins!

PETER H. REYNOLDS
is the illustrator of the bestselling Judy Moody series and the Stink books, as well as the author-illustrator of The Dot, Ish, So Few of Me, The North Star, Roses Garden, and Sky Color. He is also the founder of FableVision, an award-winning educational media developer and publisher. Nothing irks me more than seeing a persons creativity get shut down, he says. Through my books, I want to help give kids and grown-up kids the vocabulary to protect their exploration in art, writing, and thinking. Peter H. Reynolds lives in Dedham, Massachusetts.

Five Things You May Not Know About Peter H. Reynolds 1. He has a twin brother, Paul. Paul was born first, fourteen minutes before Peter decided to arrive. 2. Hes part-owner of a childrens book and toy shop called the Blue Bunny, in the town where he lives. 3. He is vertically challenged (aka, short!) 4. He sometimes paints with tea instead of water whatevers handy! 5. He shares a birthday with James Madison, Stinks favorite U.S. president!
