Differential Amplifier

Aim: To find Ad, Ac and CMRR of Differential amplifier with and without constant current source. Theory: Circuit Details and its analysis. Procedure: 1) Apply the +12V (+Vcc) and -12V (-VEE) for all circuits. 2) Connect the Circuit as shown in fig A. 3) Apply an input sine wave of 50mV and 1 KHz . 4) Note the O/p voltage on CRO at Collector of Q1 and Q2. 5) Calculate Ad. 6) Connect the Circuit as shown in fig B (short base of both transistors). 7) Apply an input sine wave of 1V and 1 KHz . 8) Note the O/p voltage on CRO at Collector of Q1 and Q2 9) Calculate Ac. 10) Find CMRR of the circuit. 11) Connect the Circuit as shown in Fig C. 12) Apply an input sine wave of 50mV and 1 KHz (sine wave). 13) Note the O/p voltage on CRO at Collector of Q1 and Q2. 14) Calculate Ad. 15) Connect the Circuit as shown in fig D (short base of both transistors). 16) Apply an input sine wave of 3 V and 1 KHz (sine wave). 17) Note the O/p voltage on CRO at Collector of Q1 and Q2. 18) Calculate Ac. 19) Find CMRR of the circuit. 20) Find Ad, Ac and CMRR theoretically and compare with practical results.
