dance artist is supposed to have. This alerts us to be specific on the costume and props needed to portray the artist in these ways.

The elements that create an alternative dance music videos are revealed by this chart. These elements are: actors, dancers, male artist, these elements are seen as most vitial and recognised as more people have notified them being regularly present in alternative dance. The other elements suggests that music videos include either a male band or one artists commonly male. Dancing is present in some music videos to show enjoyment of the genre.

This bar chart shows the type of behaviour that people expect to see in alternative dance music video. This bar chart shows the most dominant feature or consistently recognised element is lip-syncing. Live performance is seen as secondly important. This means that when we make our video the mise-en-scene that we would have to focus on and include is lip-syncing and live performance.

Regarding sound, my audience research has showed that viewers expect to hear soundtrack most often as opposed to instrumental and dialogue. This suggests that I must have a soundtrack for my alternative dance music video as it is a recognised theme.

Considering editing methods, it is clear that alternative dance music videos use narrative editing as opposed to montage. This persuades me to use narrative editing methods for my alternative dance music video.

This chart shows what the viewers perceive of the overall presentation of alternative dance music videos. The pie chart shows that the audience expect alternative dance music videos to have a creative (over the top design) to fascinate and entertain the viewers. The second most dominate feature shows that people expect it to be simplistic in order to relate better to the youth.

This split doughnut chart shows the emotional themes people expect to be expressed in alternative dance music videos. It is clear that people expect comedy to be expressed frequently in alternative dance music videos. This means that my music video should include mise-en-scene (body language or facial expressions) and narrative which make the viewers laugh.
