    This sound design report details the sound attenuation needs for a ventilation system with a rectangular inlet of 900mm by 1200mm and a 500mm by 500mm outlet. Test results are provided measuring sound pressure levels at various octave bands both entering and leaving the system, in the room, and at a listener 5m from the outlet. An attenuator model KRA-400-150 measuring 275mm by 600mm by 50mm is selected to reduce sound levels to meet the required noise criteria of NC35 or below across all octave bands.
