"He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips. (Pro 20:19) "Now I beseech you, brethr en, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them." (Romans 16:17) ..."meddle not".....meaning not to mingle or to intermix with them.... ...."avoid them"....to shun, to turn away from them. Scripture is clear on how we are to handle those who wish to gossip and carry ta les about other people. We do not mingle with them. We actually "shun" them an d turn away from them. "And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no co mpany with him, that he may be ashamed. Yet count him not as an enemy, but admon ish him as a brother. " (2 Thess 3:14-15)
