    INSTALLATION ------------------1.Install .NET Framework 3.5 with sp1 by running the dotnetfx35 with sp1.

    exe file in the Requirements folder. Note: Your operating system may need Windows Installer 3.1 in order to install . NET Framework. In that case please install WindowsInstaller 3_1 x86.exe file in th e Requirements folder. 2.Install Visual C++ 2005 runtime versions by running the vcredist2005_x86.exe fil e in the Requirements folder. Required for 64-bit also 3.Install Visual C++ 2008 runtime versions by running the vcredist2008_x86.exe fil e in the Requirements folder. Required for 64-bit also 4.Install Windows Media Format Runtime 11 by running wmf 11 for XP.exe in the Requ irements folder 5.Install QuickTime v7.62 by running QuickTimeInstaller v7.62.exe in the Requireme nts folder 6.Install Metus Ingest Software by running Metus Ingest 2.5.msi 7.Install License Dongle Key Driver. The License Dongle Key must be plugged to a computer s USB port where Metus Ingest will be installed. Please plug the dongle key if it is not plugged and run License Manager.exe to install dongle drivers and related software. Use default settings for the License Manger installation wiza rd by clicking next buttons. Upgrading Metus Ingest -------------------------Upgrade assumes that any previous version of Metus Ingest is already installed i n your computer. 1. ms 2. us 3. Please remove the previous version of Metus Ingest using Add or Remove Progra option in the Control panel. Delete the installation folder of previous versions from ...\Program Files\Met Technology\Metus Ingest folder Follow the instructions above for installing new version of Metus Ingest.
