Learning Outcome: The course deals with the use of information systems within a business enterprise. It will address both the fundamentals of information technology and where, why and how those that run a company find it important to support business strategies and core processes with computer-based systems. Students should gain an understanding and appreciation for the use of information systems to obtain organizational efficiencies, increase individual effectiveness and/or gain a competitive advantage. In completing this subject a student should have an understanding of the role of information systems within a business enterprise. Topics on information technology (IT) concepts will be covered as will the business and management issues associated with the use of IT. Teaching & Learning: Started of with the students presentation on chapter 4 then followed by lecture on the same chapter by the subject lecturer, students was asked to make their own notes or slides during the presentation at the same the lecture notes on the chapter will also given to the students by the subject lecturer . Q &A session was held with the students. This was a 4 hours class, together with the replacement class. Evaluation of Teaching & Learning : Students presented on chapter 4, assessment marks were taken, based on their understanding and knowledge on the topic. Summary of chapter 4 was given to the students back after the presentation
