Mr. Operations Manager ???? NE 136 Avenue Vancouver, WA 98654 Dear Mr.

Medina; Please credit my account for the additional expense of $940.50 I incurred to correct the improper sized door you shipped on our last order. On May 17 I placed an order for a large custom door for a high-end customer's home. The door was ordered to measure 12 feet 2 inches, but when it arrived on June 28 our carpenter found that it measured only 11 feet 10 inches. The door opening had been pre-constructed to facilitate immediate instillation as insisted on by the customer. The best and only option remaining for all concerned was to reconstruct the door opening to match the size of the door that was cut to small, a quick if imperfect solution for my client which saved you the large expense of the returned door. I am enclosing a copy of both the original invoice and the carpenter's bill for the extra expense of resizing the door opening. Please authorize the credit immediately and send a copy of the transaction to me at the above address. My company and Custom Wood have had a long standing and stellar business relationship. We have been privileged to use your high quality custom doors and windows on many of our jobs and look forward to placing our next order shortly. Sincerely,
