while considering ending or starting a football program. In a business class, it may be used to illustrate some of the business of college football. At a school meeting it may be used to persuade a school to keep or start a football program, because it illustrates the impact that a football program has on a school. In the presentation, I chose the font and the color because I wanted something that would get the point across, but not be too distracting. I chose to type in all caps because it stands out enough to get the point across. I chose the pictures because they showed what the text is about. The picture of the changing campus is Notre Dame. The improved stadium is the University of Texas Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium. I chose this one because I knew it what one of the most recently renovated stadiums. For schools I chose to focus on, I chose the top 3 Big Ten schools because it is a major conference that also has high regarded academics. I chose Notre Dame obviously because that is the school that I attend and it is one of the oldest and most historic college football programs. Lastly, I chose Texas because it was the top revenue school and it also has a historic football program. For the top 25 rankings and top schools rankings, I took screenshots from ESPN and US News and World Report. My sources were mainly the schools websites and a Forbes article on the economics of college football. This is where I got all the numbers. All of the pictures were taken from various sites that Google images led me to.
