To tap the huge potential of individuals and employees in enhancing/solving BESCOM problems and achieve roadmap for Highest Customer Satisfaction Applicable to all BESCOM employees and Public Outcome Bring out the Best Talent to find innovative solutions that can impact BESCOM

Monthly Contest for Submission of ideas/proposals either on BESCOM Website and by Post to Corporate office To be held Year Long on Monthly / Quarterly Basis Two categories 1) BESCOM Employee 2) Public

Bench Marks
Innovation Cost Saving Revenue enhancement Reliability Improvement Customer Satisfaction Index Time Frame for implementation/Impact Return on Investment

Initial Shortlist
Core committee of 3 GMs and 2 BCPC Committee can shortlist few from the large pool of ideas For both Categories In case of Diff of opinion Go with Majority voting To short list few ideas.

Final Judgement Committe


MD BESCOM Can Nominate one person BESCOM/ACADEMIA in case he wants to be neutral GM CA GM Revenue GM ITMIS GM DAS / Procurement GM Cust Care and Grievance GM Finance GM Operations GM Revenue GM HRD GM QoS / Protection Chairman BCPC Decision by Majority Among 11 people for Both Categories

Results
1 Selection for Both Categories each to be shortlisted every month The Shortlisted Contestant Should present his/her Idea at the next ORM Meeting which can mandate a field /Trial run Based on BESCOM boards approval.

Brief executive summary followed by description of idea/suggestion Cost involved Time Frame and Man Power requirement Metrics No need for an recommendation for the proposal BESCOM Contractors/suppliers are barred from participation
