PIN BATTREY BB pin 1 is battery + pin 2 is a communication line back to the phone pin 3 is a temp line back to the

phone pin 4 is gnd pins 2 and 3 are used to tell the phone the charge condition of the battery and when the charge cycle is complete My cell phone v710 plug-in receptor ripped out of the phone today. Due to annoyi ng issues I can't get a replacement phone til probably next Wed. I want to strip open a charger cable and manually connect the wires directly to the battery pins. This way I can have some way of charging my cell phone battery until I get a replacement phone. The charger cable has three pins: 1 GND 2 R=25 or 33 KOhm to GND in data or charge cable 3 +6v charge voltage And the battery has 4 pins: 1 battery + 2 communication to phone 3 temp line to phone 4 gnd QUESTION: Which cable pins/wires need to touch which battery pins? Cable = C, Ba ttery = B C1 > B4 C3 > B1 or C1 > B4 C2 > B1 or ...something different? Also, is there any risk of over charging the battery (once its full) since I won 't have any indicator to tell me when its fully charged? A quick follow up, I cracked open the charger connector head: Pin 1, black wire = GND Pin 2, white wire = ??? Pin 3, red wire = hot So, my assumption for cable wire to battery pin would be: Black/C1 to B4(-) Red/C3 to B1(+) ....does white/C2 need to connect to anything? Is the above correct?
