    Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), in-charge of Galle District, Vass Gunawardene has been transferred to Ratnapura District with

    immediate effect, police spokesman SSP Prishantha Jayakody said. Meanwhile Ratnapura District SSP Padmasiri who in-charge was transferred to Galle District. The Police Spokesmen said that following an order issued by IGP N.K. Illangakoon.
