    most repute d companies in the world. Owing its origin to the State, it is continuing its leadership pos ition in Karnataka, one of the fastest growing states in India. The bank has over 600 branches spread ac ross the State. For FY2009-10, Karnataka contributed over 16% of total domestic business of the bank . The total business of the Bank in the State stood at INR634.1 billion ($14.1 billion) comp rising INR357.3 billion ($7.9 billion) under deposits and INR276.8 billion ($6.2 billion) under advances as at March 2010.
