Interview with Mohamed Arif

The Northern explorers decided to interview Mohamed Arif. He is a taxi Driver from Pakistan. Question # 1: Why did you come to Canada? Mohameds answer: Better place for kids and more peaceful than Pakistan. Question # 2: What are the changes from Pakistan to Canada? Mohameds answer: Different language, different religion, different food. Question # 3: How did you like moving to Canada at first? Mohameds answer: Very hard, there were no jobs as graduating from a University in Pakistan does not mean anything in Canada (he was a pharmacist in Pakistan). Question # 4: Did Canada live up to your expectations? Mohameds answer: Very good people. They were Very caring, and considerate. It was a lot better than I expected. Question # 5: What do you miss the most about Pakistan? Mohameds answer: The food, my family still living in Pakistan, the mountains, and sentimental value. Fun Fact: Mohamed said that in his home town in Pakistan there were hot springs that were cold in summer and hot in the winter. He also said there was a hot spring that was always hot and you could place an egg in its water and in ten minutes it would be boiled. Shane, Doug, and Richard
