Q= What where the object of the visit of Liquat Ali Khan to America? Ans -: Liquat Ali Khan was the first prime minister of Pakistan. Besides,
he was the right hand man of the Quaid-e-Azam. He was a states man, politician and a speaker of remarkable quality. He paid a state visit to America in 1950.it was the first state visit of Pakistan to America. The object of this visit was to introduce Pakistan to the west as a peaceloving Islamic democratic country. Liquat Ali Khan did it very well. He made this speech to acknowledge the award of an honorary degree by Kansas University. He mad Pakistan and the modern world the topic of this speech. He highlighted the political, Social, economic and religious aspects of Pakistan. He explained the two-nation theory and justified the demand of a separate homeland by the Muslims of the subcontinent. He said that true freedom means freedom from hunger, disease, poverty and ignorance. He urged America, the torchbearer of democracy, to play its part in developing the world peace. It was a historic address. The west was totally unaware of Pakistan and its problems before his visit. His visit paved the way for friendly ties between America and Pakistan. That is why Pakistan heavily relies on America even at the dawn start of the 21st Century. In short, the visit of Liquat Ali Khan was a success of far-reaching consequences and it achieved all its targets.
