Information for Students from Overseas - Opening a Bank Account in Cambridge

If you wish to open a bank account in Cambridge, all banks require a letter from the
College stating:
your residential address in Cambridge
your residential address in your home country (where you live, not where you work)
your arrival and leaving dates and your course of study in Cambridge
The bank will also wish to see your passport and, possibly, details of your financial
guarantee. We will not be able to prepare a letter to the bank until we know which bank
you wish to use. When you have decided, please complete the following details as soon as
you know them and return the form to the Tutorial Office in Room Y4.
