Franz Schubert was just 18 years old when he wrote his exquisite Mass in G, while Mozarts virtuoso Vespers setting, featuring the ever-popular Laudate Dominum, was also the work of a young composer anxious to showcase his prodigious talents. But the most vivacious and exuberant work of all on this programme is Haydns splendid Te Deum written for an admirer when the composer was nearly 70!

Tickets 16 (8 for under 17s) from The Art Stationers, Dulwich Village SE21 7BN; South London Music, 29 Grove Vale, East Dulwich SE22 8EQ; or call 020 7274 2349.
