The nocturnal people were the first to know they were back to town: they heard, clearly, their thrill in the silence that separates the end of dawn from the sunrise. Then, at any time, they could not only be heard but seen with naked eye, travelling among treetops and gardens. In this climate of ecological apocalypse, that is now part of city culture, very few paulistanos are brave enough to openly sustain what they saw and heard: birds, that had almost disappeared from So Paulo some time ago, were coming back.
