COLLEGE DAY '10

The college day was held on 29, April 2010. Apart from yester years, this college day witnessed some spectacular cultural performances. To add more heat and to arise more competitiveness and participation, the entire college was divided into 6 groups namely Trojans, Scorpions, samurais, Pioneers and Ryders. The preparations lasted over a fortnight before the ultimate day. Creative models and charts added more to the beauty of the college. The auditorium was jam-packed with a bunch of enthusiastic and excited students. The stage was set and invited everybody to ?FEEL THE BEAT?. The program began by remembering the almighty. Franko, the famous playback singer, inaugurated the cultural show. He left behind some long lasting memories as he made the entire college to dance with his musical charm. Thereafter the college witnessed some spectacular performance by different groups in the area of light music, group song, dance, drama and instruments. Dr. K Vijayakumar, Principal GECT, officially inaugurated the program. Cash prizes and certificates were honoured to the academically brilliant students and staffs. Principal Dr. V.H. Abdul Salam read the college report. The off-stage competition winners were also awarded. Sam Shiva, a rock band stole the evening show and made the students to dance on the tunes of music. The program was organised by a committee headed by Mr. Govindraj.E (staff advisor) and Mr.Shaheen.V.P (student convenor).
