Eric W. Santos is a Bowles Rice special counsel in the firms Southpointe, Pennsylvania office. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, mass torts defense, toxic torts defense and energy law. Eric earned his law degree from Capital University School of Law in Columbus, Ohio. He earned a bachelor of science degree in broadcast/journalism from West Virginia University, where he graduated cum laude. He is admitted to practice law in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Texas, and before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Allegheny Bar Association, the Washington County Bar Association, the West Virginia State Bar Association, the Ohio County Bar Association, and the Texas State Bar Association. Eric was a staff attorney for the Blair County Legal Services Corporation in Altoona, Pennsylvania, a legal intern in the Civil Rights Section for the Ohio Attorney Generals Office, and a law clerk for Seventieth Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Larry V. Starcher in Monongalia County, West Virginia. Eric is also in private practice, handling numerous cases in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
