John and Sam are brothers from Tadcaster

And I don't know who they are
But you mihjt if you showed me
And I don't know of a John or a Sam
As I don't see them down the pub.

But I do know of two brothers John and Samuel

down the local as they no me quiet
better than I do as I don't see them a
John or a Sam
As we don't see them down the pub.

Some times we get drunk with a John and a Sam

down the local when we go out
with John or Sam and how do we know
who is John? and Sam? is
As we all do see a John or a Sam down the pub.

We all know of John Smiths Bitter and

Sam Smiths bitter from Tadcaster where they are brewed
and made.
If you said to me do you fany a pint of John's or Sams
As we do know you are talking about
But we all do get drunk with either
a pint or two of John's and Sam's
