help! Understanding autism is a Family Support Seminar which provides information and advice to parents and carers of children aged up to 11 who have received a recent diagnosis of autism

How will the seminar support families?


The seminar will support families to; Develop an understanding of autism Discuss experiences of getting a diagnosis Identify how autism can affect families Explore practical ideas for developing communication strategies Clarify support that families may be entitled to and ways to access this

Cost
This seminar is being funded by Holly's Ball (www.hollysball.co.uk ) which is an annual event held in Wales to raise Autism Awareness and funds for Autism Charities. This means that this seminar is now FREE to parents and carers who have a child with autism (up to 2 people per family) All families that attend receive a full resource pack of useful information, advice and support guidelines. help! Understanding autism is delivered by experienced and trained professionals of The National Autistic Society (NAS).
