Nonprofit partners with LSUs BR PRessworks to promote Bywater area using SCVNGR Oct. 18, 2012: 10:00 a.m. News Facts The Bywater Art Walk will be Nov. 10, 2012 on St. Claude Street in New Orleans. The Bywater Community Development Corporation and BR PRessworks are holding an event using SCVNGR. The LSU student public relations firm, BR PRessworks, is only one of four groups given a grant to work with SCVNGR to engage local nonprofits. SCVNGR is a geolocation-based smartphone application designed to engage communication between users and their locations.
