    May 18, 1989 MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 009 s. 1989 TO : DRUG ESTABLISHMENTS , OUTLETS AND ALL PARTIES CONCERNED CLARIFICATION ON THE PERIOD OF THE PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS WITH OLD LABEL SHALL BE ALLOWED TO REMAIN IN THE MARKET

    The relevant portion of Section 17 Administrative Order No. 55 s, 1988 as amended by Section 4 of Administrative Order No. 64 s. 1989 is quoted hereunder. Section 17 Effectivity However, those products already in the market bearing the old labels shall be allowed to remain in the market, but not later than December 31, 1989 From the above quoted Section, it is clear that pharmaceutical products with old labels are allowed to remain in the market until December 31, 1989. Drug Establishments and Outlets may continue to accept and sell products with old labels up to the end of 1989 Please be guided accordingly.
