Work Experience
2010-2012 Outdoor Recreation,University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC Bicycle Shop Assistant Manager Bicycle Mechanic services to students and faculty. Focused on creating a bicycle friendly environment to both students and faculty. Hosted and taught monthly clinics on bicycle maintenance, safety. Assisted in the University of South Carolinas recent application to the League of American Bicyclists Bike Friendly University, a national ranking. Obtained the Bronze level the first year we submitted our application. Assisted in the Abandoned Bicycle Program, a new program in which bicycles left on campus are repaired and restored and placed into the hands of students and faculty at an affordable price. These bicycles and member of the university were chose based on those who willingly showed interest in bicycle commuting, recreation or competition, on or around campus. 2010-2012 Outspokin Bicycles, Columbia, SC Bicycle Mechanic/Builder Assisted in building new bicycles for the sales floor. Handled sales and relations with customers. Assisted in marketing the shop and its services at various events around the city, including local bicycle races, marathons, and outdoor related events in Columbia, SC. 2008-2010 Rock Hill Bicycle Shop, Rock Hill, SC Sales/Mechanic Handled day-to-day tasks around the shop, including sales, mechanic work, and assisted in a re-design of the store layout, in which that year we received the highest sales numbers the store ever grossed.

Activities
2009-2011 Member and President, University of South Carolina Cycling Team. Organized group rides on campus. Worked with local sponsors and bicycle shops in establishing pro-bicycle relations and presence on campus. Organized bicycle racing team and training schedules. Arranged logistics for travel and competition at other universities in the Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference. 2010-2011 General Member, Carolina Productions. Volunteered at a student-run organization that brings entertainment to students and faculty at the University of South Carolina. Coordinated production including comedic events, concerts, and special featured movies on campus. 2006-2010 Member, Rock Hill Bicycle Club. Rock Hill, South Carolina. Active member. Assisted in various functions to help the club meet its mission of promoting recreation, competition, and advocacy in the upstate Piedmont region of South Carolina.

Assisted the Board of Directors in coordinating the Rock Hill Bicycle Races (2008), one of the southeasts oldest amateur/ professional bicycle races. 2006-2009 Front Page News Editor, Fort Mill High School Newspaper.
