Hey Purple Penguins! December weather is perfect for us penguins! Projects and social activities are still going on, even during Winter Break, and in fact, you'll probably have more time to attend these events with school out of the way. So, take this awesome opportunity to volunteer at Our Daily Bread, a soup kitchen, or at various other projects that will be continually updated on via email, our website, and our Facebook group! Besides that, it's the perfect time to socialize with other penguins, whether it's at the December DCM or the D34S Ice Skating Under the Stars social! various high schools in our division! At the D34S Ice Skating Under the Stars event, on December 21st, you'll also have the chance to socialize with friends and make new penguin buddies while doing a triple axel spinny thing if you happen to be a professional ice skater. You can even enjoy some hot coco, as one Penguin from each high school in D34S is honored for being an amazing member! (THIS COULD BE YOU.) Also, heads up for the The December DCM will be held on December 22nd (exact times tbd), and Key Clubbers will be going around the neighborhoods near Homestead caroling for cans! This annual tradition means donations for the Second Harvest Food Bank and a chance to sing with friends from the various high schools in our division! At the D34S Ice Skating Under the Stars 3 event, on December 21st, you'll also upcoming Executive Board elections! You, yes, YOU, can run for President, Vice President, Treasurer, or Secretary of Fremont Key Club for the 2013-2014 school year!
