Dear Professor Cook, In the last three months we have gone through many different things in this class. The method of teaching that you used helped me as a person and writer in many different ways. The openness of the class helped me get the right amount of critique and feedback from not only you but my fellow classmates. This helping me strengthens my papers to the best of my abilities. I was able to compare others point of view to mine to see how the papers that I was creating looked from a different perspective. While this method of peer reviewing/ editing helped me, it was one of the things that I had a slight problem doing. When it came to me reviewing a classmates work I was a little adamant about either being too harsh or not being able to correctly convey the thoughts that I had about the piece of work. This fault was one of my weaknesses that I had while compiling my own papers. Instead of going above and beyond I tend to play it safe and do the minimum to get an acceptable grade. My biggest problem this semester was time management skills when it came to some of the assignments, especially the inquiry. Instead of working on the things I knew needed the most work I would focus on the miniscule details. With the revisions I made to my two assignments the inquiry was still the one I had the most problems with. After rereading the paper and the comments given it was still very hard for me to continue making this paper better than it was. I did however fix the citations that I had a lot of problems with. There are also a few more hard stats that are in the paper that support my ideas. With the discourse community paper I was able

it continue that with more ease. I added more of my own personal thoughts instead of just information. Signed, Tylanna Stewart-Herman
