Juran Trilogy

Process improvement involves planning. One of


the best approaches developed by Juran.

The Trilogy consists of three sequential and logical groups of activities (components) - Quality Planning , - Quality Control and - Quality Improvement.

THE PDSA cycle

The basic Plan-Do-Study-Act

cycle was first developed by

Shewhart and then modified by Deming.

There are four steps:
