Some templates may not be a perfect fit, a degree of good scalpel skill is required to ensure everything goes ok.

All hill sides will need chamfered cuts on the inside to butt up neat. Mounting board edge strips can be cut from STC. or Alternatively Cut 5mm strips and match the angle needed to the template stuck to the phone card anc cut with scissors. hill side reinforcements are all extras cut from previous templates, so if youve already done them youre quids in. Alternatively print and cut them on page 3. Chamfered edges are easier to do with scissors than scalpel. use granny grating for the top surface. i matched it by overlaying on top of template and used a cd or ohp pen to mark what needed to be cut, simples. Alternate Hill layouts are shown on page 4 and do not need to be printed but can give inspiration for the variety of hills possible.
