Abstract This study investigates the presence of sensationalism in three (3) television networks namely GMA, ABS-CBN, and

TV5. There are 50 news items that are common in three television networks and was rated by three (3) student raters and three (3) Media practitioner raters. Based on the result of the descriptive statistics, TV5 has the most sensationalized news and has gained the greatest identified present sensationalized news among twelve (12) out of fourteen (14) indicators are the greatest in this network. In comparative statistics found the significant difference of sensationalism between the three aforementioned stations.
