Warrants for arrest were obtained for Lashaun Blunt on January 1, 2013 for an incident that occurred at the Royal Oaks Gardens Apartments. Blunt got into a physical altercation with another black male inside an apartment. Blunt pointed a gun at the other subject and a struggle for the weapon ensued. Sometime during the struggle, the gun fired. At the time of this altercation there were two small children in the apartment. After the gun fired, Blunt pistol whipped the other subject then fled on foot. Kannapolis Police requests anyone with information regarding this incident or the suspects location to call 704-920-4000 or Crime Stoppers at 704-932-7463. A reward is available for anyone providing information that leads to the arrest of Lashaun Blunt.
