Acceptance- Sec 2 (b)

A offer is said to have been accepted when the person to whom the offer is made signifies, his assent to the offer to do or not to do something. In simple words- when the acceptor signifies his assent to the offeror.

Acceptance must be communicated to the offeree. Acceptance must be absolute and unqualified. Acceptance to whom. Acceptance by whom. Manner of Acceptance. Time-limit for Acceptance. Acceptance cant be implied from silence.

When Acceptance is completedSec 4

The communication of an acceptance is completed As

against the offeror when it is put into a course of transmission to him, so as to be out of the power of the acceptor. As against the acceptor when it comes to the knowledge of the offeror.

When acceptance is revocated- Sec 5

An acceptance may be revoked at any time before the communication of the acceptance is complete as against the acceptor, but not afterwards.
