Then you job is to convince us you are right and we should do/follow/believe what you are presenting. All parts are due on Friday Feb 1, 2013. 1) Create an ad of no more than 45 seconds that does the following: 1) Tells the audience what the topic is; 2) Influences the audience in a direction you want them to go; 3) Engages the audience so that they will remember what your topic is. We will be spending several days in the Computer Lab to create the imovie narrative that you will be presenting to the class. 2) Create a poster (or series of posters) that convinces people to agree with your point of view. 3) Write a speech, containing facts that you have researched, in order to convince your audience to believe or change over to your point of view. Speeches will be presented in class, either live or video. Visual Aids will be expected for your speech. EXTRA CREDIT - Create a fourth piece of propaganda that is different from the above a political cartoon, a testimonial statement from a well-known person on behalf of your cause, a cartoon or animated piece, etc. Propaganda is neutrally defined as a systematic form of purposeful persuasion that attempts to influence the emotions, attitudes, opinions, and actions of specified target audiences for ideological, political or commercial purposes through the controlled transmission of one-sided messages (which may or may not be factual) via mass and direct media channels."
