PITTSBURGH BALLET THEATRE PRESENTS FREE BALLET UNDER THE STARS PERFORMANCE AT HARTWOOD ACRES
WHO: WHAT: Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre
Pittsburgh Ballet Theatres 24th annual Ballet Under the Stars performance at the Hartwood Acres Middle Road Concert Area is free and open to the public. As part of the Allegheny Summer Concert Series, PBT presents an evening of mixed repertoire featuring August Bournonvilles Napoli Variations and The Flower Festival at Genzano Pas de Deux, George Balanchines Sylvia Pas de Deux and Dwight Rhodens Chromatic. Prior to the performance, PBT will host a variety of free, family activities including a ballerina dress-up station, character greetings and photo opportunities, themed crafts by PBT and the Boyd Community Center and dance activities with PBT School instructors. PBTs ticketed picnic dinner will also begin before the performance. Guests attending the picnic will have the opportunity to meet Artistic Director Terrence S. Orr and PBT company dancers while enjoying dinner, cocktails and live musical entertainment.
