Outlet Atmosphere

Store atmosphere is influenced by such as attributes as lightning, layouts, presentation of merchandise, fixtures, floor covering, colors, sounds, odors, and the behavior of the sales and service personnel. A store atmosphere affects the customers mood/ emotions and willingness to visit and linger. It also influences the customer judgment of the quality of the store and the store images. A major component of store atmosphere is the number, characteristics and behavior of other customers. Crowding must be considered because it can generate negative emotions for the customers and reduce the time of customers browsing. And also staff which is on training must know how to deal with unruly customers because the behaviors of other customers can influence overall atmosphere. For example, Muji outlet who sell clothing until house utilities, must consider about their outlet atmosphere. They must make their customers stay as long as the customers can in the store. In order to do that, Muji arrange their store in the easiest way for the customers. All of the customers will find what they want so easy because Muji already arrange what they need. We can see from the picture below.
