Time Topics Discussed/Outcomes 9:55 Meeting started and sign in 10:00 ThinkShow is on March 5th, only 1 time this year in semester 2 Bulletin boards are due on Friday 3/1/13 10:05 Email 3 unit planners by Friday that are done. First submission is only for the 1st 3 planners that are done so far. Planners will be uploaded by Marilyn on September 22nd File naming: 1st submission = Ex. WhoWeAre_Upload1.doc File naming: 2nd submission = Ex. WhoWeAre_Final.doc 10:10 Planners 4, 5, 6 are due November 14th This is the last 3 that are being finalized still now The newest updated POI must be emailed in to Marilyn A new form will be sent out to look at/correct Check it over vertically and horizontally 10:15 Marilyn needs our unit schedule for the year for each grade level Email it and make sure it covers the whole year until the end of school 10:20 First collection of quality student work will be on September 14th Whiteboard protocol has been finalized and will be sent out to everyone New WB protocol will have to include SPI or CCSS numbers at the end of each outcome that is written in student friendly terms Homework section will be up to departments to decide how its going to be done. 10:25 Peer Inquiry visits October 16-17 Individuals or groups will come to watch each teacher do an inquiry lesson It should be about 15 minutes Everyone will be signing up for times to be visited 10:30 Lesson Plan Format for posting: a new lesson plan form will be sent out You must post something, get something posted so district walkthrough people can quickly access and see 10:35 Discussion of worksheets and differentiation Worksheets cannot be used in the traditional sense. If task sheets and collaborative grouping is employed that is much better. 10:40 Classroom library discussion: teachers discuss the different format they are using for classroom libraries.
