I have known, lectured and worked with Kashyap.B during 4 years of his Bachelors course at Mechanical department in K.S. Institute of Technology. Having observed his performance and attitude towards the different responsibilities he has undertaken under my guidance and supervision and also as assistant professor for 3 years of his stay at K.S.I.T, I have been able to evaluate and appreciate various aspects of his multifaceted personality. Kashyap attended my lectures on Design of machine elements and vibrations and was noticeably one of the bright students in the class. His strong fundamentals and clear understanding of the subject became evident to me when he managed top scores above 75% in the subject, in spite of it being conceptually tough. His good academic performances were consistent throughout the course, culminating with the final year seminar on Super cavitations and project on FEA Analysis of 4 stage cam box, which received the well deserved appreciation from me and my colleagues in the department. A striking aspect of Kashyaps student life was his ability to manage time effectively between academics and different technical and non-technical activities in the department. Kashyap is an excellent student and has a aggregate of 68% at he end of his 8th semester.
