LETS GET MOVING WHITEHALL!

The percentage of overweight children in the United States is growing at an alarming rate, with 1 out of 3 kids now considered overweight
or obese. Many kids are spending less time exercising and more time in front of the TV, computer, or video-game console. Preventing kids from
becoming overweight means adapting the way your family eats and exercises. Our goal at Whitehall is to make sure our students learn to
incorporate some form of physical activity in their daily routine.
We would like the students to record the activity, number of minutes active, and have a parent/guardian sign off on it. The children who are
active for at least twenty minutes a day outside of school will earn free activity time on the 2nd Friday of the next month.
