Course Description

This training will provide case workers and clinicians working in social service agencies with the skills necessary to create person centered plans of care. Attendees will learn a recovery based model of documentation, create documentation that includes clients in the plan of care process, and learn how to implement measurable goals and objectives in order to accurately evaluate client progress and areas of growth.
This intermediate level training benefits caseworkers and clinical staff. Attendees will receive 3 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs = 3). Presenter

Shannon Cooper-Sadlo MSW/LCSW, Assistant Clinical Professor, currently teaches BSSW level practice course, MSW level courses in the mental health and family concentrations. Shannon is a graduate of Saint Louis University BSSW program and of the University of Denver MSW program. She has been in clinical practice with various populations for 18 years. In these positions, she has had significant experience with people experiencing co-occurring disorders in hospitals and community mental health settings. Shannon is currently working as an LCSW supervisor and with women experiencing trauma and substance use in a residential treatment facility.

Attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion reflecting 3 hours of Continuing Education provided by Saint Louis University School of Social Work.
