Rural transformation is very much essential for overall development of the country.

our honourable former president suggested the PURA concept for rural transformation. In my opinion, it is lack of capital resource, which is pulling back rural masses toward poverty and misery. Even In the age of technological advancement and shrinking of physical distance, any one can work for the rural development even staying in urban areas. If physical infrastructure of rural areas improved substantially, it will lead to overall development of the countryside. There is no doubt that quality human resource is required even for rural areas but if capital resource is not commensurate with quality of human resource, it will lead to wastage of human resources, which could be effectively utilised in other deserving areas. Therefore, both capitals as well as human resource are essential requirements for rural development. However, even without quality human resources, rural transformation can be achieved by utilising latest technologies like ICT etc. This debate related to human vs. capital is true even for India also, from India so many quality human resources every year migrate to industrialised countries for better future prospect because in India there is lack of infrastructure related to scientific development and technological advancement. Even, above argument is also true in context of inter-state migration/development.
