2012-2013 Luncheon Series
Monday, March 4th, 2013 We would like to invite you to learn more about the youth of our community by attending our luncheon with guest speaker, Tulare County DA Tim Ward. The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California Foundation has started this series to foster communication and understanding and raise the level of awareness of our children in the Central Valley.
Tim Ward joined the District Attorneys office in 1999 as a Deputy District Attorney. Since joining the District Attorneys Office, Tim has held numerous assignments varying from Felony Trial Division, Juvenile Division, and the Porterville Division. In 2005, Tim was promoted to Supervising Deputy District Attorney and has supervised both the Juvenile Division and Porterville Division. In addition, he has supervised the Operations Division consisting of the Support staff, I.T., Fiscal, Special Programs, and the Victim Advocate units. Tim was promoted to Assistant District Attorney in April 2011, and was in charge of the Bureau of Administration, overseeing all logistical operations of the largest law office in Tulare County. Tim Ward was appointed by the Board of Supervisors to the position of District Attorney effective Dec. 15, 2012.

District Attorney Ward will present and talk about his experiences in the criminal justice system and working with community with a particular focus on how the judicial system affects families in the central valley. This is sure to be a great talk. Please join us!
