You will hear a radio programme where health issues are discussed.

TASK 3
You will hear a short extract from the middle of a radio programme about Charles
Schulz, the creator of the Peanuts comic strip, whose best-known character is Snoopy.
For questions 1 to 4 COMPLETE the sentences with the missing information, which can be
ONE OR TWO words. You will hear the recording twice. (4 x 2 =8 points)

In the 1950s a young man from the mid-west developed a cartoon strip called Peanuts. In the
next 50 years he drew 17,800 comic strips and became a national icon.
