Romeo And Juliet Album Cover Aaron Berdy

In my album cover for the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack, I have included various analogies including visual, logical, and paradoxical analogies. Bill Gates is shown surfing a wave holding his clearly loved Iphone. Microsoft and Apple are being compared here to the houses of Capulet and Montague. Juliet says to her nurse in act one, scene five, after the party where she met Romeo, My only love sprung from my only hate! referring to her love, Romeo, coming from the house of Montague (1:5,152). Bill gates is shown clearly loving his Iphone and taking it surfing, but the Iphone comes from his enemys family, the house of Apple. Romeo is shown climbing a cliff risking his life to get to the top. On the top of the cliff is a sun. In act two, scene two, when Romeo climbs to Juliets Orchard, upon seeing Juliet in the window, he comments to himself aside, It is the East, and Juliet is the sun, comparing Juliet to the sun (2:2,3). I put the sun on top of the cliff to represent Romeo climbing to Juliets orchard to see Juliet, his sun. In the same scene, after Juliet sees that Romeo has joined her in the orchard, she says to him, If they do see thee, they will murder thee, (2:2,75). That is why I have chosen to have him risking his life in the picture, climbing a cliff. In act three, scene one, Romeo is a newlywed and he is living in a state of euphoria, greeting Tybalt with love after being called a villain. However, there is a quick turn of events, and it is all downhill from there. Mercutio and Tybalt fight, and while Romeo is trying to break them up, Tybalt stabs Mercutio and kills him. Romeo duels Tybalt and kills him in fury. When the Prince shows up, and interviews Benvolio, he sentences Romeo to be banished. In minutes, Romeo went from having the perfect life hes dreamed about to being banished from the city he loves, away from his wife, with the death of his best friend and cousin on his hands. This is why I choose to put a wave in my picture. It symbolizes a tsunami, representing how your whole life can be thrown to pieces in a matter of minutes.
