TREK-743 Linux Image Installation SOP

A. Prepare all related stuffs as below 1. CF card (>4GB) x 1 2. USB storage device (>2GB) x 1 3. Files as below, and unzip TREK-743_install_tools.zip as second picture.

B. Build USB bootable device Execute HPFormatUSB.exe and will see below window 1. Put USB storage device and make sure your system recognize it., i.e. (R:\) in below picture. 2. Choose the target device which you want to build as bootable device. 3. Set FAT32 and Quick Format and press start.

TREK-743 Linux image installation SOP C. Make LinuxLiveUSB device Execute Unetbootin-win-549.exe 1. Check Diskimage as iso type and set corresponding path to file: slax-killbill-5.1.8.1.iso 2. Choose USB Driver and set target storage device (R:\) and press OK

D. After finish LinuxLive USB dongle been done, please copy image file (trek743_image_20110506.img.zip) into the device.

TREK-743 Linux image installation SOP E. Put Live USB dongle into TREK-743 and boot on the device. Then you will see the Slax OS is starting. 1. Please make sure the CF card is put inside

F. After system booting complete, log into system with root account, and make sure the image file is inside 1. Account: root , password: toor 2. Cd /mnt/sda_removable/ 3. ls check trek743_image_20110506.img.zip is inside

TREK-743 Linux image installation SOP G. Restore the Linux image through below command 1. Zcat trek743_image_20110506.img.zip | dd of=/dev/hda

H. Unplug the storage device and reboot the system.
